Mid-term Missions Opportunities

Here at the Summit our goal is to help you love God, love others, and love our world more effectively. We yearn to see God move your heart to a place where it burns to reach the lost with the tremendous love of Jesus Christ. One of the best ways we can help nurture God’s calling in your life is by helping you find healthy ministries that you can serve alongside of as you do international missions. Below is a list of ministries that the Summit Church would be thrilled to connect you to. Each of these ministries has a link where you can download a more detailed overview of the organization, their ministry opportunity locations, times programs are offered, costs, restrictions/qualifications, and next steps). 

 

IMB (Multi-Continent) 

  • "Hands On" projects are between 4-7 months.                                           

Uhuru Child (Africa)  

  • 3 weeks-3 months (over the summer), 2-6 months (anytime), Long term 1-2 years.                                                  
Pioneers (Multi-Continent) 
  • The EDGE projects are 6, 8, or 10 weeks (over the summer). One-year opportunities through Pioneers VENTURE program.                                       

Send International (Multi-Continent) 

  • SEND Summers (2 weeks-2 months), SEND Me (2 months-1 year), Academic interns                                                       
Global Year (Multi-Continent) 
  • 6-12 month Gap year program                                               

Campus Crusade (Multi-Continent) 

  • Vision Trips (1 week), Summer Projects (5 weeks), STINT Teams  (1 year), 3-5 years or more.
