Facilities Director

Brier Creek Campus

Hours per week: 40+ (full time)

This position will oversee the Brier Creek Campus Facilities team responsible for the general maintenance of buildings and grounds, as well as completing maintenance requests.  In addition, the Facilities Associate will assist in managing subcontracted projects.

The ideal candidate will possess 2+ years in maintenance and repair field experience, to include specific skills in painting, sheetrock touch ups, light carpentry skills, light electrical, and plumbing.  They will also have a passion for working in a church setting, stewarding our properties from an aesthetic standpoint, and serving staff and the congregation.

Church Planting Resident

Hours per week: 40 (full time)

A Church Planting Residency is a full-time, 9-month position at the Summit Church in Raleigh-Durham for lead planters. Participants receive a realistic experience of life and ministry in a church planting church while preparing to plant a church in North America. Residents receive assessment, training, and ongoing coaching through the Summit Network while recruiting a team, fundraising, and developing their strategy for the future plant. Upon successful completion of the program, participants will be sent out to plant.

Kids Pastor

Central Ministry

Hours per week: 40 (full time)

To support their growth and vision, The Summit Church is seeking a Kids Pastor who will be responsible for giving leadership, vision, and oversight to the Kids Ministry at The Summit Church as they seek to partner with families and raise up a generation that loves Christ and His mission. This position will speak directly into the Kids Ministry across all Summit campuses. While all of the ministries at The Summit Church will function within the framework of the larger church vision, the Kids Pastor will seek to creatively implement that vision in a relevant and effective manner with children from birth through 4th Grade at all Summit Church sites.

The ideal candidate will possess, at minimum, a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. They will also have at least 5 years of church staff experience, and multi-site experience would be a plus. They will also have a proven track record of working in a children's ministry setting committed to reaching the unreached, working within a community, and promoting innovation through collaboration. The successful candidate will show a high degree of effectiveness in leadership, communication, organizational skills, and strategic planning.
