Taste & See
Each file linked below has a set of thirty-one passages to be read for each day of the month. Along with each passage are questions that help bring clarity to the verses. Print these out and give them to a friend, ask them to reflect on them; towrite out (as instructed in the documents) in a few sentences what they see as the main thought, and then, in a sentence or two, what it means to them; then arrange to get back together in a week or so to discusswhat they are learning. It’s good stuff!
Parenting
Resource: Book
Author: Elise Fitzpatrick
All of us want to raise good kids. And we want to be good parents. But what exactly do we mean by “good?” Mother-daughter team Elyse Fitzpatrick and Jessica Thompson contend that every way we try to make our kids “good” is simply an extension of Old Testament Law—a set of standards that is not only unable to save our children, but also powerless to change them.
Give Them Grace is a revolutionary perspective on parenting that shows us how to receive the gospel afresh and give grace in abundance, helping our children know the dazzling love of Jesus and respond with heartfelt obedience.
