Still Standing

During this series, we'll be looking at wisdom from the book of Proverbs and how living biblically can help us stand against the trials that we face. Here are some resources for both small groups and individuals to help you study along with us for this series.

Additionally, there are three things that we're going to do to help us grow together as a church community.

1. Read through Proverbs twice
There are 62 days between the first Sunday and last Sunday of this 9 week series and 31 chapters in Proverbs. If you read a chapter a day, you will have read the whole book twice by the end of the series!

The Summit staff will be teaming up to provide you with a short devotional guide for each day's reading. We'll post each one on the Summit blog. Sign up in the box below if you'd like a weekly email reminder.

2. Memorize two passages
Together, we're going to memorize Proverbs 3:5-6 and 3:19-26. Here are a few tips on memorizing scripture if you need some help.

3. Read through Proverbs with your kids once
All parents know life with children is unpredictable. So we are suggesting you create your own schedule for reading through the entire book of proverbs once with your children during this series. One idea you could try is to adapt the schedule above as it will help keep your immediate family’s spiritual life somewhat in tandem with the rest of the Summit family.
