Believe Project Updates
The Believe Project is the Summit's ongoing effort to expand our faciltiies and presence to effectively reach our community wtih the Gospel. We would love for you to give toward what God is doing through this project. See below for updates.
August 2010 Update: This summer, we’ve seen a visible increase in tithes and offerings for which we are grateful to God. We want to encourage you who are covenant members of the Summit to continue to be faithful and generous. The tithe, which is a minimum Biblical guideline for giving, is something God blesses when we freely give it. Our weekly tithes and offerings are a foundation for everything we are able to do as a church body. From the mundane things like turning on the lights, to the life changing, such as helping a family in dire financial need, your generous and regular tithes and offering make these vital functions of being a church possible.
Many of you have committed beyond your tithes to the Believe Project and as we are well into our second year of this venture, we are excited to report on some of the progress we’ve been able to make. . .
1)Launching our North Raleigh Campus, which includes personnel, a location, and all the up-fit costs associated with it.
2)Beginning to construct a venue in the new BC warehouse that will accommodate 400 college students and serve as a future venue space.
3) Production and facility upgrades at West Club and Cole Mill.
North Raleigh Campus to launch soon! On Sunday, Sept 12th at 9:00am, our new North Raleigh campus will officially launch! Pray together with us that releationships will be built, people will be conntected to service and excitement will continue to grow about what God has in store for this campus
Believe Project Offering reaches $1 million for 2010! In June, 2010, we reached the $1 million mark for receipts for our Believe Project offering for the year 2010. Celebrate what God has done together with us! Learn more about this offering.
Believe sermon series: Recently, we worked through a sermon series called "Believe." Together, we learned about the importance of preaching the Gospel continually and the sacrifice required of each of us to ovecome. Access audio and video of these messages in our sermon player.
