Middle East - January 13 - 21 - FULL
This team is going to support our church planters in Central Asia. We’ll be hosting the team as people come in for a time of relaxation and refreshment.

Eastern Europe - January 16 - 26
The NC Baptist Men are working with Hungarian speaking Roma (gypsy) living in Ukraine to provide for their medical needs.  This request is for doctors, nurses, pharmacy techs, and dentists to help facilitate a medical clinic.  The need is great.

Greensboro Vision Trip - March 9 - 11
Travel to the future home of Mercy Hill Church in Greensboro, NC.  Go with members of our newest North American church plant as they cast vision for the future.

Kenya - March 23 - April 1
We are sending a team into six Resettlement Villages in Kenya to share the gospel with Uhuru Child. This team of adults will lead a day of prayer for up to 6,000 impoverished people, and will serve those whose lives have been uprooted by government corruption and tribal violence. All adults are welcome.

Haiti - Apri 3 - 10
This trip will provide support to Global Outreach-Haiti in their ministries to the Haitian people near Port-au-Prince. Specific activities for the team will be established based on the skill sets of the team.  There is always a need for maintenance/mechanic skills and also opportunities to work in construction, medical, church leadership, or kid's ministry.  Middle school or high school students may be eligible if accompanied by a parent.

Dominican Republic (x2) - April 2-6 & April 9-13
The Summit Student Ministry will be leading two trips to introduce our students to cross-cultural missions through evangelism and church planting by supporting career workers in their long-term ministries.

India - May 17 - 28
This team will be traveling to central India to serve at an orphanage. We will be planning and running VBS for the children from the orphanage and the surrounding neighborhood. We will have the opportunity to bless the family working at the orphanage and catch a vision for the work God is doing there.

Taiwan - May 24 - June 2
Join us as we partner with our church planting team in Taipei, Taiwan to reach Taiwanese university students through local university bible studies, activities and English classes. We will have the opportunity to visit some of the universities, meet with students and spend some time exploring the sites, sounds and tastes of Taiwan-for the glory of God and the advancement of His Kingdom.

Central Asia - June 4 - 14
Partner with one of our church planting teams working in an unreached context. This team will be primarily focused on working to build relationships in the community. Trip activities are still being developed but may include running a sports camp and working to serve a local orphanage.

Denver, CO - June 10 - 14
In January 2011, we sent out 25 people to plant the Summit Church in Denver, CO. Now 75+ and growing, we are sending a team to help support their initiatives to serve their city and put in the gospel on display in Denver.

South Asia - mid-June
This team will be partnering with church planters from the Summit and national partners to train locals in strategies for more effectively reaching the millions who are still in the darkness. We will also be looking for new contacts and new areas of ministry in this central and strategic city.

Nicaragua - June 29 - July 6
Work with a ministry that focuses on neighborhoods and works to rescue and restore innocent children who have been forced into slavery and sex-trafficking.  Specific activities will be established based on the skill set of the team and may include outreach to street kids and street ladies, feeding the hungry, missionary care, medical projects, mechanic projects, building projects, and Nicaraguan local church connections.

Greece - July 6 - 15 
The main goal of this summer’s IWC project in Greece is to come alongside the Greek Evangelical Church in reaching their communities for Christ. We will involve Greek teens and young adults in sharing their faith with their peers. This may include a 3 day trip to a Greek island. In addition, we plan to serve at a refugee center where the gospel is openly proclaimed among Central Asian refugees, as well as visit historic sites with great meaning to our Christian faith and history.

Eastern Europe - July 8 - 14
This team will work with our church planting partners in a beautiful city in efforts to begin a church planting movement in Eastern Europe.  The specific activities of this trip will be determined based on the skills and interests of the team formed.

City Project (College Students) - June - August
Spend two months being immersed in the local church and cities around the globe. Travel to New York to learn more about one of the Summit’s North American church plants. Spend four weeks receiving theological training through a seminary class. Give your life away to the city of Durham, NC by partnering with ministries meeting the needs of the hurting. Intern with a Summit staff member as a summer intern. Finally, cap off the summer traveling cross culturally to Africa or South East Asia to see how God is working through the church internationally.

Mufreesboro, TN - Summer
City Church is one of the Summit's newest church plants, sent out in July to this exurb of Nashville. This team will support and encourage the City Church team as they serve their city and build new relationships for the gospel.

Nepal - Mid or Late September
This team will partner with an anti-human trafficking group in Nepal called Tiny Hands International.  They will visit locations where THI works to share the Gospel and to meet physical needs.  The team will encourage staff, churches and women who are part of the anti-trafficking ministry, as well as learn first-hand about interventions to protect the children of Nepal and beyond.

South Asia - October
This team in South Asia is working with our church planters in one of the most remote places in the world. This trip will require difficult trekking at high altitudes as well as very simple living conditions, often in villager’s homes. If you are willing and able to use your skills here, this trip is a great fit for you.

Dominican Republic - Fall (Summit Kids)
This is a family-friendly trip that will be coordinated and lead by the Summit Kids ministry. The trip is designed to give families a chance to serve together in an international setting.

The Summit has had longstanding involvement on the largest unevangelized island in the world. This trip will involve trekking to very remote areas to do research and share the good news. Physical fitness is a must in this intense environment.
