The Summit Church provides you with a unique opportunity to be a part of accomplishing God's mission to the world. We currently have 3 international church plants where you can use your skills and passions to advance the Kingdom. The areas where God has led us to are some of the neediest in the world. Many are in devastated countries where economic development and community health are primary needs. All are in desperate need of the Gospel. In North America, we are strategically planting churches in areas where the Gospel is not being advanced.

Who can go?

We are able to mobilize people in all stages of life and provide both short-term and long-term options. If you are interested in participating in a short-term missionary journey, then you will be excited to know that there are many options for you to choose from.

How do I get there?

If you are interested in a short-term missionary journey, contact us to get an application. For overseas travel, you will also need to make sure that you have a valid, up-to-date passport (getting your passport can take a couple of months, so start the process as soon as possible).

If you're interested in long-term (2 years – career) missions, please contact us for more information. We have opportunities available no matter what age you are:

• College Students – We want all of our college students to spend 2 years overseas. We call this the Mormonization of our church. Post-college is one of the best times in your life to serve overseas. If you are interested in spending 2 years in some exciting places, we would love to connect you with one of our church planting teams.
• Young Professionals – As a young professional, you have unique skills that you can put to use to help build God’s kingdom. If you are sensing that God is calling you to be a part of church planting, we would love to talk to you.
• Families (couples w/o kids & couples w/ kids) - One beautiful thing about the Church is that it is multi-generational. We want our church plants to represent that beauty. We already have families with kids serving on the field, but we need more. If you think God might be calling your family to church planting, get in touch with us so we can talk about the details.
• Senior Adults (55+) - Each church planting team that leaves the Summit needs to have men and women that can offer wisdom and life experience. And all of our couples with new born babies would love to have adopted grandparents on the team. If you are 55+, you have a unique opportunity to be a part of what God is doing around the world. This isn't just for college kids. We need you to join us!

No matter what category you fall into, we recommend that you get plugged into SendRDU at least a year (2 years is even better) before you’re looking to serve.
