Church Planting

Church planting is one of the primary ways that we as a church love our world. We believe THE most beneficial thing for every community is a church that proclaims and embodies the Gospel of Jesus.  We believe the Church is THE BEST organization on earth, and will survive as long as time itself.

So, we are committed to planting churches in strategic cities all over the world. By God’s grace, our goal is to plant 1000 churces by 2050. To achieve that goal, we have recently launched SendRDU, the church planting center at the Summit.

We currently have 5 international church planting teams serving in some really exciting places and 11 domestic church plants that we have partnered with in North America. Each year we give away at least 10% of our budget to church planting, and send hundreds of volunteers to serve those communities.

LEARN: Perspectives is a dynamic, interactive 15 week course designed to expand your view of what God is doing around the world and challenge you to consider your part in His purposes. More than a "class", it is an adventure with God through the eyes and experiences of biblical historians, church planters, seminary professors and leading missiologists from around the world. Class credit available for students. Sunday evenings from 6:30-9:30pm, Jan 22 - May 13, 2012 at the Summit West Club Campus. Sign up here.
